Key Responsibilities

  • Talent Acquisition position with 1 years contract to manage talent acquisition activities in Malaysia.
  • Provides active search support for open vacancies, collaborating with HRBPs and business managers to define candidate profiles and identifying multiple sourcing channels.
  • Builds relationships with business leaders, hiring manager, HR business partners, and candidates
  • Organizes and conducts pre-screening candidate interviews, background checks, and reference checks for all position level candidates.
  • Develop new hire compensation packages and ensure approvals are in compliance with guidelines.
  • Analyses the effectiveness of recruitment practices in region and works closely with external recruitment vendors to monitor performance.
  • Interfaces with HR Shared Services team for onboarding process and ensuring a smooth transition from selection process to offers of employment.
  • Maintains a pipeline of candidates for critical roles.
  • Provides system and reporting support to TA team.
  • Analyzes effectiveness of recruitment practices and identifies areas of improvement

Minimum Requirements

  • At least 5 years of working experience solely in Technical Recruitment.
  • Strong communication & interpersonal skills, including negotiations, presentations & stakeholder managements.
  • Strong knowledge in candidate engagement (Talent pool in the current market, surrounding compensation, setting expectation for the company and candidate, networking).
  • Has adequate exposure with Malaysian market.
  • Has experience and exposure in providing consultation to hiring managers on best practice and recruiting strategies for Technical Roles according to the talent pools in the market.
  • Great team player with positive attitude.
  • The ideal person should be fluent in English, Mandarin (will be covering China as well).

Additional Responsibilities

  • Develops, supports and maintains strong partner relationships with hiring managers and functional leaders.
  • Organize & Attends job fairs to support existing college relations and other hiring programs.
  • Explore new technology of sourcing tools/applications to build up the funnel and enhance the candidate pool.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
