APOLOGY FOR DISCRIMINATORY JOB ADVERTISEMENT
We deeply regret that two job advertisements posted by us, Emerio GlobeSoft Pte Ltd (hereafter referred to as “Emerio”) on Monster on 21st August 2018 for Support Analyst (SharePoint) and on 27th August 2018 for Senior Network Engineer had discriminatory content, in that we stated Nationality as “India” for the candidate for this position. We recognize that these advertisements are biased and goes against our commitment to adhere to fair employment practices. Both these advertisements have since been removed and additional internal measures have been instituted to check any future reoccurrence.
Emerio apologizes unreservedly for this oversight and states that this does not reflect the hiring philosophy of the Company. Emerio hereby affirms our utmost support and commitment to the “Tripartite Guidelines on Fair Employment Practices”. We reassure that we will proof-read any job ads before they are posted to ensure all guidelines have been met and to avoid any potential discriminatory advertisements.
We once again apologize for this unfortunate lapse and will do all that is necessary to ensure that this is not repeated. We are fully committed to promoting fair hiring and employment practices and will continue to do so.
