The 16th World Congress on IT was held at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre on May 18 – 22, 2008. Themed “The Global Impact of Information and Communications Technology: Enable Businesses, Empower Societies, Enrich Economies”, the five-day event drew more than 2,500 delegates from over 80 countries.

WCIT 2008 was jointly organized by the Multimedia Development Corporation (MDeC) and the Association of the Computer and Multimedia Industry of Malaysia (PIKOM), with the support of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation Malaysia.

Emerio showcased its Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) capabilities for IT Services at the event. The staged process of the Emerio BOT offering helps companies evaluate the risks and check feasibility before investing in a full fledged manner.
