The International Association of Outsourcing Professionals (IAOP) has named Emerio Corporation a “rising star” in its annual global ranking of the top 100 IT Outsourcing companies. The results were published in this year’s FORTUNE 500 issue, which was focused on identifying the latest global outsourcing trends and practices.

In the report, companies were ranked based on 18 criteria, including revenue, growth, the skills and training of their workforce, and quality of customer service. Emerio emerged as the top Asian company, and the only Singapore-based company, in this year’s ‘Rising Stars’ list. The company’s number of delivery centres was identified as one of its key strengths. Emerio was also recognised in the sub-list “Top Companies by Region Services are Delivered”, for its services to companies in the United Kingdom.

Emerio, whose services include application management, infrastructure management, professional services, and software development, has also emerged the highest-ranking Singaporean company on a list of Best Managed Global Outsourcing Vendors. Additionally, they have recently been named one of the top IT Outsourcers in a global ranking survey done by the Aberdeen Group. The report, entitled “Squeezing the Full Value from Offshore Application Outsourcing” was released in March this year. Late last year, the company was also awarded the ASME-LHZB Singapore Promising Brand Award.
