Experience: 5 to 6 yrs

Mandatory Skills:
- Adaptive Server Application Enterprise(ASE Server).
- Replication Server Knowledge.

Responsibilities:
- Building New dataservers as per the clients requirement and configure them with the std parameters that are used globally in the firm..
- Designing and planning of physical allocation of database devices and other objects in the dataservers.
- Creation of Data, Log and Backup devices and user databases.
- Replication server trouble shooting and problem resolutions.
- Configuring warm standby and MSA replication as DR for the Prod servers and - Maintain the Stage servers with the same configurations.
- Monitor the critical stage servers for the space allocations and Performance issues.
- Configuring and tuning the sp_configure values for performance tuning and troubleshooting operations.
- Analyzing and monitoring system performances using DBCC Trace on commands, query plan outputs, system procedures like sp_sysmon, system utilities like Optdiag etc.
- Monitoring and avoiding the Locking events
- Solving Troubleshooting problems like user and system Database Corruption and restoration
