Feasibility study

Our feasibility study is focused to enable outsourcing of  IT , which includes application landscape, security, support call volumes, support model and documentation. 

SLA (Service Level Agreement) formulation

‘The service level agreement or SLA is fundamental to service provision, from the perspective of both the supplier and the recipient.  It essentially documents and defines the parameters of the relationship itself.’

A well-defined SLA is critical for a good working relationship between the service provider and the client.  As part of these services, Emerio will work with our client to deliver the key components of the process:

  • Defining the boundaries of the system under examination
  • Identifying the major workloads of the system
  • Identifying the business drivers of the system and forecasting the business growth
  • Identifying significant failures scenarios that have bearing on performance of the system
  • Client SLA requirement
  • Analysis of volume and performance test result to identify the system performance limes
  • Documenting and monitoring the SLA
  • This service may take the form of a review of existing SLA or formulation of new SLA
Cost control

For all customers Service Levels, capability and performance management of applications are linked to cost. There are number of common scenarios where cost analysis can be utilized to achieve significant saving.

The Cost Analysis Process involves some or all of the following tasks, depending on the problem domain:

  • Define the scope of the cost analysis exercise
  • Capture baseline capital and operational costs
  • Develop cost of service model
  • Recommend optimization measures, e.g. Change to existing service model, modification to application interfacing and process optimization, and server/network consolidation
  • Develop cross charging mechanisms where multiple services or business products share common infrastructure
  • The Cost Analysis Service can be used for an existing service where major changes in business processes or infrastructure have resulted in a shift in the cost model. Alternatively, it may be employed during the development phase or business case of a new service, where it is especially beneficial in determining feasibility.  Emerio has considerable experience in delivery of end-to-end enterprise IT system cost model.
Proof of concept

It is to enable IT Management and business sponsors to effectively evaluate the merits of outsourcing services.  Emerio POC enables customers to take an understanding of application outsourcing and develop scope of work for outsourcing.
